COMEX GOLD LOSING STREAK CONTINUES

Published on Nov 06, 2026 14:44

COMEX Gold futures are exhibiting muted trading activity following a two-week peak in the prior session. The metal briefly surpassed $4150 per ounce before retreating as crude oil prices advanced and equity markets experienced a significant decline. This downturn has pushed COMEX Gold below $4100 per ounce, presently positioned at $4080 per ounce, reflecting a 0.82% decline for the session. MCX Gold futures are valued at Rs 142455 per 10 grams, representing a decrease of more than 1% on the day. Spot Gold is maintaining levels near Rs 120000 per 10 grams in Ahmedabad and has appreciated approximately 16% over the past year. Recent price declines have occurred over several weeks, and a potential increase in retail demand may materialize if present levels are maintained in the near term.
