It invested across multiple asset classes including equities, equity and index derivatives, debt, commodities, and real estate. It managed proprietary funds that are typically closed to external investors. The Company launched new currency derivatives including the GBPINR, EURINR and JPYINR contracts during 2010-11. The Company has commenced operations in the business of Software Services, Information Technology (IT) and Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) in FY26. Accordingly, during the year 2026, the Company transitioned from its earlier business activities to a technology-focused business model and is presently focused on building sustainable capabilities in the areas of software services, IT and ITES, while evaluating further opportunities in the Data Centre and allied technology ecosystem.
