Packaged Foods company Zydus Wellness announced Q4FY26 & FY26 results

Consolidated Financial Highlights:

  • Revenue from Operations: Stood at Rs 14,847 million in Q4FY26, showcasing a strong growth of 53.87% QoQ from Rs 9,649 million in Q3FY26, and an increase of 62.60% YoY compared to Rs 9,131 million in Q4FY25. For the full year FY26, revenue was Rs 39,610 million, up by 46.22% from Rs 27,089 million in FY25.
  • Total Income: Reached Rs 14,859 million in Q4FY26, marking an increase of 53.87% QoQ from Rs 9,657 million in Q3FY26, and a 62.59% growth YoY from Rs 9,139 million in Q4FY25. For FY26, total income stood at Rs 39,674 million, compared to Rs 27,225 million in FY25.
  • Profit Before Tax (PBT) (after exceptional items): Came in at Rs 1,773 million in Q4FY26, a turnaround from a loss of Rs 415 million in Q3FY26, and an increase of 2.25% YoY compared to Rs 1,734 million in Q4FY25.
  • Profit After Tax (PAT): Reached Rs 1,620 million in Q4FY26, representing a recovery from a net loss of Rs 399 million in Q3FY26, but marking a decline of 5.76% YoY from Rs 1,719 million in Q4FY25. For FY26, PAT stood at Rs 1,972 million, declining by 43.15% YoY against Rs 3,469 million in FY25.

Standalone Financial Highlights:

  • Revenue from Operations: Reached Rs 1,326 million in Q4FY26, down 13.11% QoQ from Rs 1,526 million in Q3FY26, but showing an increase of 3.67% YoY from Rs 1,279 million in Q4FY25. For FY26, it stood at Rs 5,821 million, growing by 64.29% YoY versus Rs 3,543 million in FY25.
  • Total Income: Stood at Rs 1,374 million in Q4FY26, down 12.48% QoQ from Rs 1,570 million in Q3FY26, but up 7.01% YoY from Rs 1,284 million in Q4FY25. For FY26, total income was Rs 5,940 million compared to Rs 3,669 million in FY25.
  • Profit Before Tax (PBT) (after exceptional items): Reported at Rs 152 million in Q4FY26, up 7.04% QoQ from Rs 142 million in Q3FY26, and a substantial increase of 192.31% YoY from Rs 52 million in Q4FY25.
  • Profit After Tax (PAT): Reported at Rs 133 million in Q4FY26, up 9.92% QoQ from Rs 121 million in Q3FY26, and demonstrating a massive jump of 259.46% YoY from Rs 37 million in Q4FY25. For FY26, standalone PAT was Rs 376 million, increasing by 26.60% YoY compared to Rs 297 million in FY25.

Business & Segment Highlights:

  • Segment Performance: The Group operates in only one segment, namely "Consumer Products". The performance is skewed in favour of the first and last quarters of the financial year due to the seasonality of some of the Group's products.
  • Dividend: The Board of Directors recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.2 per share (60%) on equity shares of Rs 2/- each, subject to shareholder approval. The company had previously affected a stock split/sub-division from a face value of Rs 10 to Rs 2 each on September 19, 2025.
  • Acquisitions & Consolidations:
    • Pursuant to a Share Purchase Agreement, Alidac UK Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary, acquired Comfort Click Limited (CCL) for GBP 239 million, along with a profit-ticker payment of GBP 2.64 million, effective August 29, 2025.
    • Zydus Wellness Products Limited sold the "Equals Two" brand, including its trademark to Zydus Lifesciences Limited ("The Parent Company") and recorded the profit as an exceptional item.
    • Naturell (India) Private Limited (NIPL) was acquired on December 2, 2024, for Rs 3,900 million. Subsequently, NIPL's entire business undertaking was distributed to the Company via voluntary liquidation on a going concern basis, effective September 20, 2025. The business operations of NIPL now stand consolidated with the Company.
  • Exceptional Items: The financials include exceptional items resulting from:
    • Expenses related to the acquisition of Comfort Click Limited (CCL) amounting to Rs 245 million.
    • Expenses related to the liquidation of Naturell (India) Private Limited (NIPL) amounting to Rs 97 million.
    • A one-time increase in gratuity and leave encashment liability (Rs 66 million consolidated, Rs 15 million standalone) resulting from the financial implications of the new Labour Codes notified by the Government of India.

  • Reporting its first quarter results for FY26, Zydus Wellness Limited, reported Net Sales of Rs 8,577 million. Net profit for the period stood at Rs 1,279 million. EBITDA for the period stood at Rs 1,556 million.
  • Organised trade saliency continued to improve, reaching 30.9% in Q1 of FY26, up from 23.3% in Q1 of FY25. Within this, e-commerce contributed 14.5%, and modern trade contributed 16.4%.
  • The Sugar Free brand maintained its leadership in the sugar substitute category with a market share of 96.1%. The sugar substitute category has grown by 4.9% at the MAT level.
  • Glucon-D maintained its leadership position with a 58.9% MAT market share, as the category grew by 2.8%. Complan held a 4% market share during the quarter.

  • Zydus Wellness, recorded 17.0% YoY growth in Q4 net sales which stood at Rs 9,106 million up from Rs 7,780 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.
  • Adjusted net profit after tax for the period was up by 14.4% at Rs 1,719 million from Rs 1,503 million.
  • EBIDTA for the quarter was up by 17.1% from Rs. 1,622 million to Rs. 1,900 million.

FY25 Financial Highlights:

  • Zydus Wellness reported a growth of 16.2% in Net Sales on a consolidated basis, which stood at Rs 26,912 million.
  • Net profit for the period (excluding exceptional items and one-time deferred tax assets) was up by 30.0% and stood at Rs 3,410 million.
  • EBITDA for the period rose by 23.2% to Rs 3,797 million.

Financial Highlights:
- Zydus Wellness reported consolidated Net sales of Rs 400 crore for Q3FY24.
- The company posted a Profit after Tax of Rs 0.3 crore, which includes a deferred Tax liability of Rs 3.4 crore.

Brand Performance:
- The Sugar Free brand maintained its dominant market share of 96% in the sugar substitute category.
- Glucon-D continued to lead with a 60% market share in the Glucose powder category.
- Complan saw a 16% increase in penetration at MAT level, while the Health Foods Drink Category grew by 5.8% at MAT level. Complan's market share is at 4.3%.

Personal Care Segment:
- In the personal care segment, Nycil remains the market leader with a 35.1% share in the prickly heat powder category.
- Everyuth Scrub holds the top position with a 44.4% market share in the facial scrub category, marking an increase of 263 basis points from the previous year.
- Everyuth Peel off also maintains its leading position with a 79.5% market share in the Peel off category, up by 113 basis points from last year.
