Household Appliances company Hindware Home Innovation announced Q3FY26 results

  • Total Income: Rs 643.48 crore against Rs 602.31 crore during Q3FY25, change 7%.
  • Revenue from operations: Rs 640.08 crore against Rs 594.23 crore during Q3FY25, change 8%.
  • PBT: Rs 5.97 crore against Rs -15.62 crore during Q3FY25.
  • PAT: Rs 4.81 crore against Rs -11.88 crore during Q3FY25.
  • EPS: Rs 0.43 for Q3FY26.

Household Appliances company Hindware Home Innovation announced Q4FY23 & FY23 results:

  • The company reported Consolidated Revenue from Operations at Rs 2,873 crore, registering a growth of 25% in FY23
  • EBITDA expanded by 38% to Rs 281 crore during FY23 as against Rs 204 crore in FY22
  • In Q4FY23, Consolidated Revenue from Operations stood at Rs 768 crore translating to an increase of 12% YoY
  • EBITDA grew 33% YoY at Rs 90 crore. Against the backdrop of an improving market environment and a strong focus on productivity and efficiency, there was a sequential growth of 8% in the topline and an expansion of 49% in EBITDA.

Commenting on the company’s performance, Sandip Somany, Chairman, Hindware Home Innovation said, “We have delivered a strong performance, despite inflation, elevated interest rates, and geopolitical uncertainties. We undertook several key initiatives to further strengthen our industry-leading growth in the sanitaryware and faucet segment and the results are visible. Our Plastic Pipes and Fittings business continues to be the fastest-growing brand in the segment and we anticipate exceeding our target of achieving Rs 1,000 crore in sales before FY25.

He further added, “Going forward, our focus will continue to be on innovation, expansion of our distribution, and enhancing our operating efficiencies and supply chain to generate reliable, sustainable shareholder returns.”

Household appliance company Hindware Home Innovation announced Q2FY23 results:

  • H1FY23 & Q2FY23:
    • In H1FY23, Hindware Home Innovation Limited's consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 1,393 crore, registering a growth of 45%. EBITDA grew 75% to Rs 131 crore during H1FY23 as against Rs 75 crore in H1FY22.
    • For the quarter, consolidated revenue from operations came in at Rs 715 crore, up 16%. EBITDA grew 11% to Rs 64 crore compared to Rs 58 crore in Q2FY22.
    • For the consumer appliances business, revenue from operations came in at Rs 254 crore in H1FY23, registering a healthy growth of 42% YoY. EBITDA grew by 119% on a YoY basis to Rs 16 crore. EBITDA margins also expanded by ~226 bps during H1FY23 over the corresponding period last year
    • For Q2FY23, the segment registered a revenue growth of 12% on a YoY basis, with EBITDA at Rs 11 crore during the quarter despite subdued consumer demand amidst an inflationary environment.
    • The building products business which comprises sanitaryware, faucets, and plastic pipes & fittings reported revenue from operations of Rs 1,111 crore, registering a growth of 48% YoY in H1FY23. EBITDA stood at Rs 114 crore, up 72% on a YoY basis.
    • For Q2FY23, the building products business, reported revenues from operations worth Rs 576 crore higher by 19% on a YoY basis, while EBITDA grew 16% on a YoY basis to Rs 53 crore.
    • The company’s plastic pipes and fittings business with revenue growth of 50% YoY in H1FY23, continues to be the fastest-growing brand in the industry.

Commenting on the Company’s performance, Mr. Sandip Somany, Chairman, Hindware Home Innovation Limited said, “Hindware Home Innovation Limited delivered an encouraging performance during the first half of the financial year despite inflationary pressures and input price volatility. Our topline increased by 16% and 45% on a year-over-year basis in Q2 & H1 FY23, highlighting the resilience of our business model. We have sought to offset rising input prices by implementing price hikes in sync with the market and also improving operational efficiencies.”

He further added, “We will continue to leverage the strength of our business capabilities, brand, and distribution to create value for all our stakeholders.”

Hindware Home Innovation announced Q1FY23 results:

  • For the quarter under review, Hindware Home Innovation Limited Consolidated Revenue from Operations stood at Rs 678 crore, delivering a growth of 98%.
  • EBITDA stood at Rs 67 crore, an increase of 292%
  • PBT before exceptional items stood at Rs 31 crore, expanding by around 10 times on a YoY basis

Commenting on the Company’s performance, Mr. Sandip Somany, Chairman, Hindware Home Innovation Limited said, “We are happy to report that we began the fiscal year 2023 on a positive note, delivering a resilient performance on a consolidated basis amid a challenging macro environment. This performance is largely attributable to our Building Products Segment, which continues to be the fastest growing across its categories, reflecting the success of our business strategy. Our Plastic Pipes & Fittings business too sustained its position as the fastest growing in the category.”

He further added, "We have looked to combat the rising input prices by implementing appropriate price hikes and enhancing our operational efficiencies. At the same time, we have maintained our emphasis on introducing new and exciting offerings. Somany Home Innovation declares Q4FY22 result:

  • Hindware Home Innovation Limited reports FY22 Consolidated Revenue from Operations of Rs 2,294 crore, an increase by 29% and EBITDA of Rs 204 crore, an increase of 27%
  • The company through its wholly owned subsidiary is setting up a new greenfield manufacturing plant for the Plastic Pipes & Fittings business in Roorkee, Uttarakhand with an investment of Rs 180 crore
  • For FY22, Hindware Home Innovation Limited Consolidated Revenue from operations stood at Rs 2,294 crore, registering a growth of 29%. EBITDA stood at Rs 204 crore, having grown 27% and PAT stood at Rs 203 crore, registering a growth of 271%
  • For Q4 FY21-22, the Company registered revenue of Rs 686 crore, reporting a growth of 12% and PAT came in at Rs 40 crore during the quarter under review, registering a growth of 81% YoY. EBITDA came in at Rs 67 crore.
  • In FY22, revenue stood at Rs 1,795 crore registering a growth of 42%. In Q4 FY22, revenue from operations grew by 20% YoY and stood at Rs 550 crore. The segment outperformed the market on the back of product and design leadership, brand awareness, a diverse product portfolio, and a strong distribution network, helping both the Sanitaryware and Faucets businesses to grow substantially. The Plastic Pipes and Fittings business also continued to show strong revenue and volume growth, retaining its position of being the fastest growing brand in the country in this segment.

Commenting on the Company’s performance, Mr. Sandip Somany, Chairman, Hindware Home Innovation Limited said, “Despite the ongoing challenges in the macro environment, the Company concluded the year on a healthy note. On a consolidated basis, the Company delivered a robust performance primarily on account of our strengthened Building Products business including Plastic Pipes & Fittings segment. The Company demonstrated exceptional agility and delivered yet another quarter of consistent performance. While raw material inflation continues, we are continuously monitoring the situation, building operational efficiencies, and implementing price hikes to reduce the impact on our margins. On the segmental front, our Building Products segment continues to outperform the market, reflecting the strength of our strategy and excellent business model, while our Plastic Pipes & Fittings business continue to be growing at a faster rate.”

He further added, “Having become an end-to-end integrated player post the acquisition of the Building Products Manufacturing business, we believe the business is well placed to derive efficiencies of scale and supply chain to deliver improved profitable growth.”

Household Appliances company Somany Home Innovation declares Q3FY22 result:

  • Somany Home Innovation Limited Delivered Consolidated Revenue from Operations of Rs 649 crore, registering a growth of 26% in Q3 FY22
  • SHIL reported Consolidated Revenue from Operations of Rs 649 crore compared to Rs 517 crore in the same quarter last year, registering a growth of 26% on a YoY basis. EBITDA recorded a growth of 6% YoY and increased to Rs 62 crore in Q3 FY22. PBT grew by 5% YoY during the quarter.
  • The Building Products Division continues to move from strength to strength, on the back of the strong performance of its businesses i.e. Sanitaryware, faucets, and plastic pipes & fittings businesses. The Building Products Segment delivered another robust quarter with Revenue from Operations and EBIT coming in at Rs 496 crore and Rs 46 crore respectively.
  • Both Sanitaryware and Faucets businesses saw significant growth in their respective market shares, on the back of product and design leadership, brand salience, wide product portfolio, and distribution network. The plastic pipes and fittings business too saw growth in both revenue and volume owing to the wide acceptance of our brand and quality of the products.
  • Revenue from Operations and EBIT for the Consumer Appliances business stood at Rs 131 crore and Rs 4 crore respectively in Q3 FY22. Consumer business profitability was impacted due to inflated input costs and slow market demand. Moreover, Q3 FY21 had benefited from a significant amount of pent-up demand, resulting in a higher base effect. The Consumer Appliances business implemented price hikes across most product categories in an effort to pass on some of the effects of the inflated input costs to consumers.
  • The pressure on profitability is temporary in nature and the Company expects to continue to drive growth on the back of innovative product launches and investment in the brand and the distribution network.

Commenting on the Company’s performance, Mr. Sandip Somany, Chairman, Somany Home Innovation Limited, said, “The Company registered encouraging growth on a consolidated basis in Q3FY22. Our Building Products Segment continues to deliver industry leading performance proving the efficacy of the strategy which we created at the start of the financial year. The Consumer Appliances Business was impacted during the quarter but we believe that the impact on the profitability is transient in nature, and our focus to further improve the efficiency of our operations will help us drive growth in the coming quarters. Consumer Appliances business, though remained flat on the revenue front during the quarter, has delivered growth in revenue on an adjusted basis and in profitability.
