Q3FY26 Quarterly Result Announced for Ather Energy Ltd.

2/3 Wheelers company Ather Energy announced Q3FY26 results

  • Sales: 68K during Q3FY26.
  • Revenue: Rs 9,536 million against Rs 6,349 million during Q3FY25, change 50%.
  • PAT: Rs -846 million against Rs -1,978 million during Q3FY25, change 57%.
  • EPS: Rs -2.22 for Q3FY26.

Tarun Mehta, Executive Director & CEO, Ather Energy, said: “Q3 has been a strong quarter for us. Robust festive demand, healthy volume growth, and improving market share together drove our best quarterly revenue and EBITDA so far. Over the past few quarters, we have stayed very focused on getting the fundamentals right by improving unit economics, margins, and operating leverage, and that effort is now clearly showing in the improvement in EBITDA. What is particularly encouraging is the strength of our ecosystem. AtherStack attach rates remain very high, and customer engagement is deepening even as our sales scale. All of this gives us confidence that the business is structurally prepared for sustainable, long-term growth.”

2/3 Wheelers company Ather Energy announced Q1FY26 results

  • Ather Energy reported total income of Rs 672.9 crore, up 83% YoY.
  • Adjusted Gross Margin stood at Rs 154.8 crore, up 117% YoY.
  • EBITDA margin improved to -16%, by ~1,700 bps YoY, narrowing EBITDA losses to Rs 106.0 crore.
  • Losses after tax for the quarter also narrowed to Rs 178.2 crore.
  • The company’s national market share rose to 14.3% in Q1FY26, up from 7.6% in Q1FY25.

We were No.1 by market share in South India this quarter and are now scaling up quickly across Middle India, which has ramped up faster than expected. Over the next quarters, there will be a larger footprint expansion in the Northern markets. This quarter saw significant growth in our margins, demonstrating our strong focus on profitability. Even as we expand pan-India, our ASP has held steady, and our market share continues to grow.“

Q4FY25 Financiall Highlights:

  • Ather Energy recorded a 28% increase in total income, which stood at Rs 688 crore in Q4FY25 compared to Rs 535 crore in the same period last year.
  • The Adjusted Gross Margin for Q4FY25 showed a substantial improvement, expanding by ~900 basis points to 18%, compared to 9% in Q4FY24.
  • Ather closed Q4FY25 with a 13.3% market share in the electric two-wheeler segment and 351 Experience centres across India.
  • EBITDA for Q4FY25 improved by ~1900 bps compared to Q4FY24.
  • Ather reduced its quarterly losses by 17% in Q4FY25 compared to Q4FY24.

FY25 Financiall Highlights:

  • Ather Energy achieved growth with total income of Rs 2,305 crore, a 29% increase from Rs 1,789 crore in FY24, reflecting strong growth in product sales.
  • Adjusted Gross Margin for FY25 surged by 2.7 times at Rs 428 crore as compared to FY24.
  • EBIDTA for the year improved significantly by ~1,300 bps to (23%) in FY25 from (36%) in FY24.
  • Net losses for FY25 decreased by 23%, from Rs 1,060 crore in FY24 to Rs 812 crore in FY25.
  • Ather Energy’s electric scooter sales grew by 42%, reaching 1,55,394 units, compared to 1,09,577 units in FY24.

Tarun Mehta, Executive Director and CEO at Ather Energy, said: “FY25 has been a year of robust growth, with strong increases in both volume and profitability, YoY. On the back of our new product launches, we saw strong volume growth of 42%, and our continued investments in engineering and R&D delivered a strong improvement in margins. Adjusted gross margins doubled, growing by approximately 1,000 bps, and that helped reduce EBIDTA losses by approximately 1,300 bps over the preceding year. Our software sales have continued to trend strongly, with 88% of our customers choosing to buy our Pro Pack in FY25, contributing to improvement of our bottom line. Q4 was a strong quarter for distribution and saw a 32% expansion in our pan-India store count.”
