NIFTY OCTOBER FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty October 2023 futures closed at 19,565, a premium of 19.25 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 19,545.75 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 advanced 109.65 points or 0.56% to settle at 19,545.75.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, tumbled 5.94% to 10.94.

HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries (RIL) and Infosys were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The October 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 26 October 2023.
