NIFTY APRIL FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty April 2023 futures closed at 17,655, a premium of 30.55 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 17,624.45 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 added 5.70 points or 0.03% to settle at 17,624.45.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, fell 1.74% to 11.94.

HDFC Bank, Infosys and ICICI Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The April 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 April 2023.
