NSE TO INTRODUCE FUTURES AND OPTIONS ON NIFTY INDIA FPI 150 INDEX

 

The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) has introduced Futures and Options contracts on the Nifty India FPI 150 Index, effective August 12, 2026, as per Circular Ref. No. 103/2026 dated July 16, 2026.

The Nifty India FPI 150 Index aims to track the performance of the top 150 stocks selected from Nifty 500 that ensure accessibility and inversibility for foreign investors.

The new contracts will be available under the symbol NIFTYFPI in the NSE Futures & Options segment.

Price Band & Quantity Freeze

  • Futures:
    The futures contracts will have a trading range of ±10% of the base price.
  • Options:
    For options, the price range will be contract-specific and will be computed using its delta and updated daily.
  • Quantity Freeze:
    The maximum quantity allowed per order will be 8,500 for both Futures and Options.
