Why did my SEP/Stock SIP get rejected on the execution date?

Your SEP/Stock SIP order may get rejected on its execution date due to any of the following reasons:

    a. Lack of available sellers at your specified limit price for the selected stock

    b. Insufficient cash balance

    c. Execution date falls on a trading holiday

Does a rejected/failed order mean my Stock SIP/SEP registration is cancelled?

No, one rejected/failed SIP/SEP order does not lead to cancellation of future SIP/SEP instalments . Your Stock SIP/SEP registration remain active unless it is manually cancelled.

Will the rejected/failed Stock SIP/SEP order be retried automatically?

No. Once the order gets rejected for a particular cycle, it will not be retried automatically. The next SIP instalment will be processed on the next scheduled SIP/SEP date.
