UP GOVERNMENT TO CONSTRUCT 19,000 KM OF ROADS BY 2024-25
News: In its ongoing mission to upgrade infrastructure and push the rural economy, the Uttar Pradesh government has started the construction of 19,000 km of roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). The construction work is slated to be completed by FY25 with a cost of Rs 15,000 crore.
Views: In the last five years, the construction of 12,000+ km of roads connecting the villages with the main road at a cost of Rs 6,500+ crore has been completed. With likely increase in momentum, road players like RPP and other regional developers focusing on PMGSY to benefit.
