News: As per provisional numbers, HDFC Bank posted an advances growth of 16.9% YoY and 6.2% QoQ at Rs 16 lakh crore led by retail (up 21% YoY / 5% QoQ), commercial & rural banking (30% YoY / 9.5% QoQ). Corporate loans grew 12.5% YoY and 4.5% on QoQ basis. Deposits grew 20.8% YoY and 8.7% QoQ at Rs 18.8 lakh crore. Within that CASA deposits grew 11.3% YoY and 9.6% on QoQ basis. CASA ratio stood flat on QoQ basis at 44%
Views: The loan growth remained better than the industry trend but has been sliding downwards in the past three quarters
