Nifty September futures trade at premium

The Nifty September 2023 futures closed at 19,705, a premium of 30.75 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 19,674.25 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 declined 68.10 points or 0.34% to settle at 19,674.25.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, fell 1.45% to 10.66.

HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries (RIL) and State Bank of India (SBI) were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The September 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 28 September 2023.
