NIFTY OCTOBER FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty October 2023 futures closed at 19,746, a premium of 56.15 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 19,689.85 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 advanced 177.50 points or 0.91% to settle at 19,689.85.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, declined 1.42% to 11.24.

Infosys, HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The October 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 26 October 2023.
