NIFTY MAY FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty May 2023 futures closed at 18,359, a premium of 62 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 18,297 in the cash market.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 lost 18.10 points or 0.1% to settle at 18,297.
The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, rose 1.01% to 13.22.
Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Asian Paints and Dr. Reddy`s Laboratories were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
The May 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 25 May 2023.
