Nifty July futures trade at premium

The Nifty July 2023 futures closed at 19,681.60, a premium of 9.25 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 19,672.35 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 declined 72.65 points or 0.37% to settle at 19,672.35.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, rose 1.45% to 11.65.

ITC, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The July 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 July 2023.
