Nifty July futures trade at premium

The Nifty July 2023 futures closed at 19,478, a premium of 79.5 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 19,398.50 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 advanced 9.50 points or 0.05% to settle at 19,398.50.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, rose 1.55% to 11.88.

HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Eicher Motors were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The July 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 July 2023.
