NIFTY AUGUST FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty August 2023 futures closed at 19,470.50, a premium of 35.95 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 19,434.55 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 added 6.25 points or 0.03% to settle at 19,434.55.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, rallied 4.10% to 12.

Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The August 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 31 August 2023.
