NIFTY AUGUST FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty August 2023 futures closed at 19,837, a premium of 83.2 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 19,753.80 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 added 107.75 points or 0.55% to settle at 19,753.80.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, rose 2.73% to 10.41.

HDFC Bank, Piramal Enterprises and Infosys were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The August 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 31 August 2023.
