NIFTY APRIL FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty April 2023 futures closed at 17,648.10, a premium of 24.05 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 17,624.05 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 lost 0.40 points to settle at 17,624.05.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, declined 2.59% to 11.63.

ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries and HCL Technologies were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The April 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 April 2023.
