Nifty April futures trade at premium

The Nifty April 2023 futures closed at 17,751, a premium of 44.15 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 17,706.85 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 declined 121.15 points or 0.68% to settle at 17,706.85.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, rose 3.21% to 12.29.

Infosys, HDFC Bank and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The April 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 April 2023.
