Nifty April futures trade at premium

The Nifty April 2023 futures closed at 17,863.35, a premium of 50.95 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 17, 812.40 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 gained 90.10 points or 0.51% to settle at 17,812.40.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, advanced 2.48% to 12.27.

Reliance Industries, Divi`s Laboratories and Infosys were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The April 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 April 2023.
