GOLD SEES TIGHT ACTION, MARKET AWAITS NONFARM DATA

COMEX Gold futures saw a choppy action in last session, consolidating in a tight range of $1810-1815 per ounce. Gains were capped on steady risk appetite. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq eked out record finishes on Thursday, while the Dow also posted a modest gain, as higher commodity prices helped energy names recover ground and the latest jobs data left investors unfazed about existing positions. The US dollar index remains around one month low of 92.20 and is limiting losses for the metal.
