Commodity Chemicals company Navin Fluorine International announced Q1FY27 results

Consolidated Financial Highlights:

  • Total Revenue: The company reported a total revenue of Rs 1,080.17 crore in Q1FY27, representing a YoY growth of 46.10% from Rs 739.31 crore in Q1FY26. On a QoQ basis, it increased by 13.07% from Rs 955.30 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Revenue from Operations: Revenue stood at Rs 1,045.08 crore in Q1FY27, marking an increase of 44.07% YoY compared to Rs 725.40 crore in Q1FY26. Sequentially, revenue grew by 11.45% from Rs 937.71 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Profit Before Tax (PBT): The company recorded a PBT of Rs 318.36 crore in Q1FY27, reflecting a YoY growth of 105.25% from Rs 155.11 crore in Q1FY26. On a QoQ basis, PBT grew by 12.77% from Rs 282.30 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Net Profit: Profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter was Rs 243.31 crore in Q1FY27, up by 107.67% YoY from Rs 117.16 crore in Q1FY26 and up by 14.43% QoQ from Rs 212.62 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Total Comprehensive Income: Total comprehensive income for Q1FY27 was Rs 243.54 crore, compared to Rs 117.60 crore in Q1FY26 and Rs 212.96 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic EPS stood at Rs 47.45 in Q1FY27, compared to Rs 23.63 in Q1FY26 and Rs 41.49 in Q4FY26.

Standalone Financial Highlights:

  • Total Revenue: Standalone total revenue for Q1FY27 was Rs 730.52 crore, marking a YoY growth of 30.96% from Rs 557.82 crore and a QoQ increase of 13.11% from Rs 645.85 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Revenue from Operations: Standalone revenue from operations was Rs 694.68 crore in Q1FY27, showing a YoY growth of 27.95% from Rs 542.95 crore and a QoQ growth of 10.88% from Rs 626.51 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Profit Before Tax (PBT): Standalone PBT reached Rs 254.84 crore in Q1FY27, a YoY increase of 70.54% from Rs 149.43 crore and a QoQ increase of 34.35% from Rs 189.69 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Net Profit: Standalone PAT was Rs 190.64 crore in Q1FY27, reflecting a YoY growth of 69.07% from Rs 112.76 crore and a QoQ growth of 41.18% from Rs 135.03 crore in Q4FY26.

Business Highlights

  • Capital Expenditure for Advanced Materials: The Board has approved a capital expenditure of Rs 90 crore to establish adoption capacities for products within the Advanced Materials portfolio. This project aims to progress products from lab scale to commercial scale qualification at the company's Surat unit. The investment will be funded through internal accruals and is expected to be completed by Q2 of FY28.
  • Rationale for Expansion: The capex is intended to incubate a new value-accretive business vertical as a future growth driver and to augment capabilities to cater to commercial-scale qualification supplies.
  • Segment-wise Performance: The Group operates in a single primary business segment, the 'Chemical business', which constitutes the only reportable segment under Indian Accounting Standard 108.
  • Update on Labour Codes: Following the consolidation of existing labour laws into four "New Labour Codes," the Group had previously recognized an estimated incremental liability. Based on subsequent review, this liability was revised to Rs 6.75 crore (consolidated) for the year ended March 31, 2026, resulting in an excess provision reversal of Rs 13.72 crore in the results for Q4FY26.

  • Revenue from operations stood at Rs 626.51 crore for Q4FY26 compared to Rs 570.01 crore in Q3FY26, representing a growth of 9.91% QoQ, and compared to Rs 484.94 crore in Q4FY25, up 29.19% YoY.
  • Profit after tax was Rs 135.03 crore for Q4FY26 as against Rs 105.87 crore in Q3FY26, showing an increase of 27.54% QoQ, and as against Rs 76.61 crore in Q4FY25, representing a growth of 76.25% YoY.
  • EPS (Basic) for the quarter was Rs 26.35 compared to Rs 20.66 in Q3FY26, up 27.54% QoQ, and Rs 15.45 in Q4FY25, up 70.55% YoY.
  • Total Revenue reached Rs 645.85 crore in Q4FY26, growing 9.49% QoQ from Rs 589.88 crore and 30.01% YoY from Rs 496.89 crore.

Q4FY26  Consolidated Financial Highlights:

  • Revenue from operations was Rs 937.71 crore in Q4FY26 as against Rs 892.37 crore in Q3FY26, up 5.08% QoQ, and as against Rs 700.94 crore in Q4FY25, up 33.78% YoY.
  • Profit after tax stood at Rs 212.62 crore for Q4FY26 compared to Rs 185.40 crore in Q3FY26, representing a growth of 14.68% QoQ, and compared to Rs 94.98 crore in Q4FY25, a growth of 123.86% YoY.
  • EPS (Basic) was Rs 41.49 for the current quarter vs Rs 36.18 in Q3FY26, up 14.68% QoQ, and vs Rs 19.15 in Q4FY25, up 116.66% YoY.
  • Total Revenue for the quarter reached Rs 955.30 crore, an increase of 5.21% QoQ from Rs 907.95 crore and 34.03% YoY from Rs 712.77 crore.

FY26 Standalone Financial Highlights:

  • Revenue from operations for the full year FY26 was Rs 2,301.84 crore compared to Rs 1,686.81 crore in FY25, showing a growth of 36.46% YoY.
