About Company

Safety Controls & Devices Limited is a Lucknow-based engineering enterprise primarily engaged in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) business. With over three decades of operational history, the company specializes in the design, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage transmission substations, including 220 KV GIS and 400 KV AIS substations. Notably, the company executed the first 220kV GIS substation of its kind in Uttar Pradesh for the state’s power transmission corporation.

The company’s service portfolio has diversified from its origins in fire protection systems—where it continues to provide installation for substations up to 765 KV—to include utility-scale solar power projects, EV charging infrastructure, and specialized hospital construction for the Ministry of Ayush. To date, the company has successfully placed 19 substations into operation for a variety of public and private utilities.

The business model focuses on turnkey projects for government entities and state power utilities, aligning with national infrastructure development goals. Operations encompass the full project lifecycle, from initial design and engineering to final civil work and technical commissioning. The company is currently leveraging its domain expertise to expand its footprint in the renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure sectors.
