Gold Sees Tight Activity, Lingers Around Seven Week Low

COMEX Gold futures saw tight moves as the metal consolidated around its seven week low of $1750 per ounce The US stocks saw choppy moves in the last session as markets eyed rising yields and worries over the US fiscal policy. This capped losses for the shiny metal. Some buying also emerged in dips as India`s active Covid-19 cases fell under the 300000 mark for the first time in six months. Major state Maharashtra also announced plans to open up in a large-scale manner in coming weeks, thereby boosting the sentiments on the consumption demand front.
