Gold Sees Little Action

COMEX Gold futures consolidated just under $1870 per ounce mark amid mixed equities today. Chinese benchmark Shanghai Composite index eased 0.16% as investors waited for the virtual summit of the leaders of the US and China set for this week. Hong Kong`s Hang Seng index rose 0.25%. Japan`s Nikkei index added 0.56%. European stocks saw little action today amid lack of major economic cues. The US stocks edged up on Friday amid firm global cues. DOW added half a percent. The COMEX Gold futures are down 0.13% at $1865 per ounce.
