The Singapore Exchange (SGX) has announced that it will transition the trading of all US dollar-denominated Nifty futures contracts to the National Stock Exchange of India`s IFSC-SGX Connect, effective from 3 July 2023.

This move will allow investors to trade Nifty futures contracts available on SGX in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City and provide market participants with real-time access to NSE IFSC market data.

After the transition, all US dollar-denominated Nifty derivatives contracts will be exclusively traded on NSE IFSC. The trading sessions, timings, and post-trade activities for NSE IFSC NIFTY will remain the same.

The SGX Group and NSE have been working closely with technology partner TCS and SGX members to transition the trading of Nifty contracts to NSE IFSC since 29 July 2022.
