NSE announces index changes

The Index Maintenance Sub-Committee of NSE Indices has announced amendments to select indices.

As per the alteration, TVS Holdings will replace Tinplate Company of India in both the Nifty Microcap 250 index and the Nifty Total Market index, effective from 19th January 2024.

These changes have been necessitated due to the amalgamation of Tinplate Company of India with Tata Steel.
