Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index rises 1.42%

Nifty Realty index closed up 1.42% at 490.85 today. The index is up 10.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd added 4.99%, DLF Ltd jumped 2.54% and Sobha Ltd gained 2.02%. The Nifty Realty index is up 19.00% over last one year compared to the 11.46% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Metal index added 1.22% and Nifty PSU Bank index increased 0.98% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 witnessed a rise of 0.25% to close at 18534.1 while the SENSEX recorded a gain of 0.19% to close at 62547.11 today.
