Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index registers a drop of 2.13%

Nifty Realty index closed down 2.13% at 423.5 today. The index has added 7.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Oberoi Realty Ltd fell 4.40%, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd slipped 4.21% and Macrotech Developers Ltd shed 3.62%. The Nifty Realty index has decreased 7.00% over last one year compared to the 1.33% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Metal index has slid 1.37% and Nifty Media index added 1.33% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 is down 0.00% to close at 17624.05 while the SENSEX witnessed a rise of 0.04% to close at 59655.06 today.
