Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 1.52%

Nifty Realty index closed up 1.52% at 652.55 today. The index has gained 12.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd added 5.28%, Swan Energy Ltd rose 4.57% and Brigade Enterprises Ltd jumped 4.09%. The Nifty Realty index has soared 46.00% over last one year compared to the 6.82% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Pharma index gained 1.48% and Nifty MNC index gained 0.78% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 increased 0.19% to close at 19443.5 while the SENSEX recorded a gain of 0.05% to close at 64975.61 today.
