Quick Wrap: Nifty PSE Index gains 2.44%

Nifty PSE index ended up 2.44% at 7510.15 today. The index has gained 17.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, REC Ltd rose 8.97%, Power Finance Corporation Ltd jumped 8.24% and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd added 5.01%. The Nifty PSE index has soared 68.00% over last one year compared to the 12.46% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Realty index gained 1.61% and Nifty IT index has slid 1.28% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 increased 0.10% to close at 20926.35 while the SENSEX increased 0.05% to close at 69584.6 today.
