Quick Wrap: Nifty Pharma Index registers a drop of 1.11%

Nifty Pharma index closed down 1.11% at 12485.25 today. The index has added 7.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Divis Laboratories Ltd fell 4.17%, Gland Pharma Ltd dropped 3.71% and Laurus Labs Ltd slipped 1.81%. The Nifty Pharma index has decreased 9.00% over last one year compared to the 2.85% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Realty index has slid 0.43% and Nifty Metal index has dropped 0.39% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 increased 0.03% to close at 17624.45 while the SENSEX witnessed a rise of 0.11% to close at 59632.35 today.
