QUICK WRAP: NIFTY PHARMA INDEX GAINS 2.23%

Nifty Pharma index ended up 2.23% at 12574.2 today. The index has gained 8.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Divis Laboratories Ltd rose 9.73%, Laurus Labs Ltd added 6.97% and Biocon Ltd gained 3.54%. The Nifty Pharma index has fallen 9.00% over last one year compared to the 1.61% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty IT index gained 1.06% and Nifty Auto index gained 0.94% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 recorded a gain of 0.51% to close at 17812.4 while the SENSEX increased 0.39% to close at 60392.77 today.
