Telecom Cables company Sterlite Technologies announced Q1FY26 results

  • Company reported revenues of Rs 1,019 crore and EBITDA of Rs 140 crore,  a growth of ~17% YoY and ~94% YoY, respectively.
  • EBITDA: Rs 140 crore compared to Rs 72 crore during Q1FY25.
  • Q1FY26 PAT at Rs 10 crore.
  • Strong open order book of Rs 4,888 crore with order intake of Rs 1,529 crore this quarter alone.
  • Optical Networking Business reported a 18.6% revenue growth and 55.7% EBITDA growth as compared to Q1FY25.
  • STL achieved ~23% revenue this quarter from Enterprise and Data Centre segment.
  • STL Digital:  Acquired 4 new customers in Q1, taking the total count to 30 global customers.

Q4FY25 Financial Highlights:

  • Revenue for Q4FY25 was Rs 1,052 crore, reflecting a 24.8% increase compared to Rs 843 crore in Q4FY24.
  • EBITDA for Q4FY25 was Rs 146 crore, reflecting a significant 231.8% increase compared to Rs 44 crore in Q4FY24.

FY25 Financial Highlights:

  • Revenue for FY25 was Rs 3,996 crore, reflecting a 2.1% decline compared to Rs 4,083 crore in FY24.
  • EBITDA for FY25 was Rs 452 crore, reflecting a 14.2% decline compared to Rs 527 crore in FY24.
  • Our Net Debt: Equity has improved to 0.68 times against 1.39 times post demerger and Post QIP (YoY).

  • Revenue: Rs 1,261 crore compared to Rs 1,322 crore during Q3FY24.
  • EBITDA: Rs 133 crore compared to Rs 109 crore during Q3FY24.
  • Open order book of Rs 9,050 crore for Q3FY25.
  • The Optical Networking Business (ONB) achieved ~8% YoY top-line growth with improved EBITDA margins.
  • Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) and Optical Connectivity (OC), has driven the attach rate to 21% in the current quarter.

FY24 Financial Highlights:

  • Revenue: Rs 5,478 crore; decreased by Rs 1,447 crore from FY23's Rs 6,925 crore.
  • EBITDA: Rs 627 crore; decreased by Rs 304 crore from FY23's Rs 931 crore.
  • The company’s recent INR 1,000 crore fundraise with top global investors via a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) shows strong investor confidence in STL’s growth trajectory.
  • FY24 also saw the company taking significant strides toward cash generation and debt reduction. With a ~3x QoQ increase in Q4 order volumes.
  • STL Digital - Scaled business rapidly to achieve a 4.25x YoY revenue growth with a robust order book of Rs 660 crore.

Telecom Cables company Sterlite Technologies announced Q2FY24 & H1FY24 results:

  • Q2FY24:
    • In Q2FY24, the company reported revenue of Rs 1,494 crore, showing a 2% decrease compared to the previous quarter when revenue was at Rs 1,522 crore.
    • EBITDA for Q2FY24 stood at Rs 216 crore, indicating an 8% decrease from the EBITDA of Rs 235 crore in Q1FY24.
  • H1FY24:
    • For H1FY24, the company's revenue amounted to Rs 3,016 crore, which was lower than the revenue of Rs 3,171 crore recorded in H1FY23, representing a 5% YoY decline.
    • In H1FY24, the EBITDA reached Rs 451 crore, showing a 13% increase compared to the EBITDA of Rs 401 crore in H1FY23.

Telecom Cables company Sterlite Technologies announced Q1FY24 results:

  • STL reported Rs 1,522 crore in revenues and a robust open order book of Rs 10,938 crore across its three business units- Optical Networking, Global Services, and Digital.
  • Amidst global headwinds, STL delivered a strong 42% YoY EBITDA growth on the back of a relentless focus on operational efficiencies, while its PAT surged by an impressive 156%.
  • The company also delivered operational profitability with a steady EBITDA percentage of 15.4% in Q1FY24.
  • Despite a 3.4% decline in the Global OFC demand in H1CY23, STL maintained its 11% global (ex-China) OFC market share, reflective of its reputation as a preferred partner for its customers.

  • STL reported record revenues of Rs 6,925 crore, growing 27% over the previous year
  • Impressive 29% and 51% growth in EBITDA and PAT respectively
  • STL reported a strong 46% revenue growth in its Optical Business along with a 93% EBITDA increase, on the back of increased volumes and realisations, as well as significant growth in its focus markets.

  • Q3FY23:
    • Revenue increases by 28%, EBITDA by 17% on year till date (YTD) basis
      • Q3FY23 revenue at Rs 1,882 crore vs Q2FY23's Rs 1,683 crore

  • STL reported profitable growth with revenues of Rs. 1,768 crore, up by 12% QoQ and 17% YoY.
