Q1FY26 Quarterly Result Announced for Gujarat Gas Ltd.

Non-Electrical Utilities company Gujarat Gas announced Q1FY26 results

  • Revenue from operations for Q1FY26 stood at Rs 4065 crore, compared to Rs 615 crore in Q1FY25.
  • EBITDA for the quarter stood at Rs 579 crore, up from Rs 574 crore in Q1FY25.
  • Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at Rs 327 crore from Rs 330 crore in Q1FY25.
  • The CNG category continues to witness strong momentum in terms of volume registering a 12% rise YoY and achieving highest ever CNG volume of 3.33 mmscmd during Q1FY26 backed by network of 830 CNG Stations.
  • Company is also aggressively pushing for FDODO model, GGL has signed around 69 FDODO agreement with various dealers as on date, which will help in accelerating growth.
  • Company added 35,000 new domestic customers added in Q1 FY26 and provides natural gas to more than 23.02 lakh households.

Non-Electrical Utilities company Gujarat Gas announced Q4FY25 & FY25 results

Q4FY25 Financial Highlights:

  • The Company registered Revenue from Operations of Rs. 4,289 crore during the quarter ended on 31st March 2025 as against Rs. 4,294 crore for quarter ended on Q4FY24 and Rs. 4,333 crore against Q3FY25.
  • EBIDTA for the current quarter is Rs. 524 crore as compared to Rs. 622 crore in the Q4FY24 and Rs. 439 crore for Q3FY25.
  • The Standalone Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the quarter ended on 31st March 2025 is Rs 388 crore as compared to Rs 550 crore for quarter ended on Q4FY24 and Rs 300 crore for Q3FY25.

FY25 Financial Highlights:

  • The Revenue from operations stood at Rs 17,184 crore for FY25 compared to Rs 16,292 crore for FY24
  • The PBT for FY25 stood at Rs 1,546 crore for FY25 compared to Rs 1,536 crore for FY24
  • Dividend recommended by Board - Rs. 5.82 per share at 291% of Face Value for FY25 (Subject to approval in AGM)

  • Revenue from Operations of Rs 4,333 crore during Q3FY25 as against Rs 4,084 crore for Q3FY24 i.e. increase of 6%.
  • Achieved Highest CNG volume of 3.12 mmscmd in Q3FY25, increase of 12% as compared to Q3FY24.
  • EBITDA at Rs 439 crore, increased by 4% as compared to Q3FY24.
  • Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the Q3FY25 is Rs300 crore as compared to Rs 296 crore for Q3FY24 i.e. increase of 1%.
  • PAT at Rs 222 crore increased by 1% as compared to Q3FY24.

Financial Highlights:

  • Revenue from Operations of Rs 3,949 crore during Q2FY25 as against Rs 3,991 crore for the Q2FY24.
  • Profit After Tax (PAT) for the Q2FY25 is Rs 307 crore as compared to Rs 298 crore for Q2FY24 i.e. increase of 3%.
  • EBIDTA for Q2FY25 is Rs 553 crore as compared to Rs 526 crore in the Q2FY24 i.e increase of 5%.

Other Highlights:

  • Company's sales volumes are at 8.75 mmscmd as compare to 9.32 mmscmd in the corresponding quarter previous year.
  • Overall sales volumes of 9.86 mmscmd during the H1FY25 as against 9.27 mmscmd in the corresponding H1FY24 i.e. increase of 6%.

  • The Company registered Revenue from Operations of Rs 4,615 crore during the quarter ended on 30th June 2024 as against Rs 3,924 crore for quarter ended on 30th June 2023.
  • The Standalone Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter ended on 30th June 2024 is Rs 330 crore as compared to Rs 215 crore for quarter ended on 30th June 2023. Reduction in spot gas prices and increase in volumes led to increase in profits in Q1FY25 compared to 01 FY24.
  • The standalone PAT for the current quarter Q1FY25 is Rs 330 crore as compared to Rs 410 crore in the previous quarter i.e. Q4FY24.
  • For the quarter ended on 30th June 2024, the Company's sales volumes increased by 19% to 10.98 mmscmd from 9.22 mmscmd during quarter ended on 30th June 2023. The industrial sales volumes increased to 7.25 mmscmd for quarter ended 30th June 2024 from 5.88 mmscmd for quarter ended 30th June 2023, an increase of 23%.

FY24 Financial Highlights:

  • Standalone PAT for FY24 at Rs 1,143 crore as compared to Standalone PAT for FY23 at Rs 1,525 crore.
  • Company added close to 1,87,000 new domestic customers during FY24.
  • As of 31st March 2024, the company has a signed volume of 7,70,000 scmd which will be commissioned in coming days.

Financial Performance:
- Revenue from Operations: The Company reported a revenue from operations of Rs 4,084 crore for Q3FY24, compared to Rs 3,991 crore for the previous quarter, marking an increase.
- Profit After Tax (PAT): For the most recent quarter, the PAT stood at Rs 220 crore, which saw a decrease from Rs 298 crore reported in the quarter ended 30th September 2023.

Sales Volume Growth:
- Overall: A total sales volume of 9.16 mmscmd was achieved for the quarter, showing a substantial growth of 26% compared to the 7.29 mmscmd in the same quarter the previous year.
- Industrial: Sales volume in the industrial sector rose by 36% to 5.53 mmscmd.
- CNG: The Company recorded its highest-ever average CNG sales, reaching 2.78 mmscmd, which is a growth of 14% from the same period in the previous year.
- PNG Domestic and Commercial: Volumes for PNG Domestic and PNG Commercial were not explicitly reported.

Operational Highlights:
- New Connections: Approximately 38,000 new domestic customers, 197 commercial customers, and 69 new industrial customers were added during the quarter.
- Upcoming Commissions: The company looks forward to commissioning signed volumes of 8,23,000 scmd in the forthcoming days.

- Gas Contracting: The Company successfully contracted approximately 0.50 mmscmd of domestic gas from an upstream supplier for four years.

  • The company witnessed a 22% increase in sales volumes, reaching 9.32 mmscmd for Q2FY24, compared to 7.62 mmscmd for Q2FY23.

  • Revenue from operations of Rs 3,924 crore during Q1FY24 as against Rs 5,303 crore for Q1FY23. The reduction in Revenue from operations mainly reflects lower selling prices.
  • The standalone profit after tax (PAT) for Q1FY24 is Rs 215 crore as compared to Rs 381 crore in Q1FY23.
  • For Q1FY24, the company's sales volumes increased to 9.22 mmscmd compared to 8.86 mmscmd in Q1FY23.
  • The industrial sales volumes increased to 5.88 mmscmd from 5.36 mmscmd in the preceding quarter, an increase of 10%.
  • Company has achieved the highest-ever average CNG sales of 2.61 mmscmd for Q1FY24, on the back of investments in CNG station infrastructure coupled with favourable government policies of reduction in APM gas prices and lower VAT rates.
  • During Q1FY24, the Company added more than 46,000 new domestic customers, and 225 commercial customers and commissioned 36 new industrial customers (with a cumulative volume close to 1,09,000 scmd). As on June 30, 2023, the company has a signed volume of ~4,27,000 scmd yet to be commissioned.

  • For FY23, the company reported an improved financial performance registering standalone Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 1,525.47 crore as compared to Rs 1,285.64 crore of the previous year, showing a growth of 19%
  • For Q4FY23, the company reported a smart recovery in total gas sales volume. The company sold 8.86 mmscmd of volume as compared to 7.29 mmscmd registered in Q3FY23, an increase of 22%
  • The standalone PAT for Q4FY23 was Rs 369.22 crore as compared to Rs 444.29 crore in Q4FY22
  • The Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) category continues to witness strong momentum, as the consumer started to benefit from favourable government policies announced to protect the interest of CNG and residential Piped Natural Gas (PNG) users.
  • During FY23, the company added close to 1,80,000 new domestic customers, 102 CNG stations, and 1200 commercial & industrial customers (with a cumulative volume close to 7,00,000 scmd) in FY23
  • For Q4FY23, the company connected over 50,000 new domestic customers, added 60 CNG stations and commissioned 400 commercial & industrial customers
  • The Board of Directors has recommended a dividend of Rs 6.65/- per Equity Share of the face value of Rs 2/- each aggregating to Rs 457.78 crore for FY23
