NIFTY JULY FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty July 2021 futures were at 15,747, a premium of 25.55 points compared with Nifty`s spot closing of 15,721.50.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange`s futures & options (F&O) segment was Rs 49.50 lakh crore compared with Rs 34.39 lakh crore in the previous session.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 26.95 points or 0.17% to 15,721.50.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, rose 0.32% to 13.045.

Reliance Industries, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Tata Steel were the top traded stock futures contracts in F&O segment for July expiry.

The July F&O contracts will expire on 29 July 2021.
