NIFTY JULY FUTURES TRADE AT DISCOUNT

The Nifty July 2023 futures closed at 19,772, a discount of 6.3 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 19,778.30 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 added 97.70 points or 0.5% to settle at 19,778.30.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, rose 2.09% to 10.46.

HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finance and Tata Motors were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The July 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 July 2023.
