NSE Holidays 2023

The National Stock Exchange of India or the NSE is a prominent and leading stock exchange in India. It was the first Indian stock exchange to implement electronic or screen-based trading. With a total market capitalization of a whopping $3.4 trillion, NSE is the world’s 10th largest stock exchange in the world.
NSE has also emerged as the world’s largest derivatives exchange in 2022 by the number of contracts traded and is also ranked 3rd in the world in the equity segment by the number of trades.
NSE is instrumental in helping traders enjoy seamless trading facilities to practice their business and execute their investments. NSE is open for trading on weekdays from 9:15 am to 3:30 pm. Thus, a normal trading session at the NSE lasts for 6 hours and 15 minutes.
However, if you are a trader on the NSE, you should be aware of the days the exchange remains inoperable. Apart from the weekends, the NSE does not remain functional on certain religious, cultural, and national holidays. Here are a handy NSE holidays 2023 list to help you out.
