KRBL Ltd is a rice processing and exporting company. Headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, this food processing company was set up way back in 1889.
The company operates in the agricultural and energy sectors. Its agri-segment is focused on farm products—not just rice, it deals in cotton, seed, bran, and bran oil. The energy segment of KRBL Ltd generates electricity from wind turbine- and husk-based power plants.
KRBL Ltd is the country’s first integrated rice company with a comprehensive product chain and is the largest rice miller globally. The India Gate Basmati Rice is the largest-selling brand in its category in the country.

Its net sales were Rs 1,319.28 crore in September 2022 (an increase of 25.21% from Rs 1,053.69 crore as on September 2021). The firm’s quarterly net profit was logged at Rs 213.11 crore in September 2022, a rise of 56.06% from Rs 136.56 crore a year ago.
