The company has a global presence and its products are sold in more than 45 countries through a rich network of 5000+ channel partners. The company was established as a partnership firm in 1968. Its headquarters are in New Delhi. In the June 2022 quarter, KEI Industries Ltd. reported a profit after tax of Rs 103.76 crore. It was down 10.54% from the previous quarter ended in March 2022. On 29 August 2022, the company’s market capitalisation stood at Rs 12,691 crore.

KEI Industries Ltd.’s product portfolio includes low voltage cables, high voltage cables, extra high voltage cables, control cables, instrumentation cables, solar cables, rubber cables, house wires, and single core/multicore flexible cables, among others. The company’s GDR and FCCB are listed overseas on Luxembourg Stock Exchange. Its manufacturing plants are located in Pathredi, Chinchpada, Rakholi, Bhiwadi, and Chopanki.
On 30 June 2022, the company’s shareholding pattern showed a public stake of 16.02%, a DII stake of 19.49%, an FII stake of 26.46%, and a promoter stake of 38.02%. The company’s leading promoter is Mr Anil Gupta, with a 12.98% share. During the June 2022 quarter, mutual fund holdings decreased from 18.80% to 16.88%, while FII holdings increased from 25.22% to 24.46%.
