The company has received the Best Infrastructure Brands award from Economic Times in 2016, the Best Independent Infrastructure Provider in the Telecom Operator Award in 2010, and the 10th Greentech Environment Excellence Silver Award in 2009 by Greentech.

GTL Infrastructure Ltd. has approximately 12.61 billion equity shares. GTL Limited and Global Holding Corporation Pvt Ltd. hold about 3.36% of the total equity shares of the company. Altogether 63.2% is held by banks and financial institutions, and the rest by public shareholders.
