  • Godrej Properties Limited, a subsidiary of Godrej Industries Ltd., is one of the leading real estate companies in the country with its headquarters in Mumbai. The company was established in 1990 under the leadership of Adi Godrej. As of April 1, 2022, the company has a market capitalisation of Rs. 47,040 crore. At present, the company is in the process of deploying projects that are estimated to cover more than 89.7 million sqft. In the quarter ended December 2021, it touched a revenue of Rs. 278 crore with an EBIDTA of -10.58. Godrej Properties Limited is registered on both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) under number 533150 and scrip code GODREJPROP, respectively.

    Godrej Properties brings innovation, excellence, and sustainability to the real estate sector. The properties around the country involve a legacy of 123 years of trust and commitment to new-age design and the use of technology. Some of the flagship projects of the company are Planet Godrej, The Trees, and Godrej BKC to name a few. In 2010, Godrej Properties released its IPO and raised around 100 million rupees. As per the company, it is the only national real estate developer with a strong presence from north to south and west to east of India. In 2016, Godrej Properties was India’s biggest real estate giant with a sale value of Rs. 5,000 crore. In the past few years, the company has bagged around 200 awards from different platforms for its outstanding contribution to the field of Indian real estate. The Godrej properties shareholding pattern is 58.43% for the promoters, foreign institutions with 29.85%, and retail with 8.95%.

    As of December 2021, the company has an annual revenue of Rs.278 crore with an EBIDTA of -10.58. In the same year, the annual net profit of the organisation was Rs.38 crore, with a margin of 13.97%. The current Godrej Properties stock price is Rs. 1681.75 as of April 4 with a low of 1658.30 and a high of 1715.15. The Godrej prop share price as of today shows a return of 20.70% in one year and 87.28% in three years.
