  • The Company registered Revenue from Operations of Rs 4,615 crore during the quarter ended on 30th June 2024 as against Rs 3,924 crore for quarter ended on 30th June 2023.
  • The Standalone Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter ended on 30th June 2024 is Rs 330 crore as compared to Rs 215 crore for quarter ended on 30th June 2023. Reduction in spot gas prices and increase in volumes led to increase in profits in Q1FY25 compared to 01 FY24.
  • The standalone PAT for the current quarter Q1FY25 is Rs 330 crore as compared to Rs 410 crore in the previous quarter i.e. Q4FY24.
  • For the quarter ended on 30th June 2024, the Company's sales volumes increased by 19% to 10.98 mmscmd from 9.22 mmscmd during quarter ended on 30th June 2023. The industrial sales volumes increased to 7.25 mmscmd for quarter ended 30th June 2024 from 5.88 mmscmd for quarter ended 30th June 2023, an increase of 23%.

  • Gujarat Gas Ltd is in the largest gas distributor having a market capitalization of worth Rs. 49,942.69 crores, it is incorporated in the year 1980. It has reported consolidated sales of Rs. 2,995.81 crores in June’2021. The company is listed in the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) with the code 539336, and also listed in the National Stock Exchange (NSE) with the code GUJGASLTD.

    Gujarat Gas Ltd is an Indian natural gas distribution company. It comes under the ownership of Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation. It operates primarily in Gujarat and is India’s largest city gas distribution company. Gujarat State Petroleum Limited acquired the ownership of Gujarat Gas Limited by purchasing a 65% stake in the company from BG Group in October’2012. Gujarat Gas Ltd operates in 22 districts of the state, the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and the Thane district of Maharashtra. The pipeline network of Gujarat Gas Ltd is spread across 30 thousand kilometers. It has 559 CNG stations and provides Natural Gas to around 15 lakh households and 4 thousand industrial-grade customers. The promoters of the company own 60.89% of the stake in the company, Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) own 8.17%, Domestic Institutional Investors (DII) own 7.9% of the stake, and others (such as public & retail investors) hold the balance of 23.04%.

    In June 2021, quarterly net revenue was Rs. 3,010.87 crores, which has increased by approximately 178.03% from Rs. 1082.92 crores for the April-June 2020 quarter. The quarterly net profit in June 2021 was Rs. 476.15 crores, which has also increased by nearly 712.71% from a net profit of Rs. 58.66 crores in June 2020. In June 2021, the reported operating profit was at Rs. 2,854.93 crores, which is also increased by 193.43% as compared to an operating profit of Rs. 972.95 crores for the quarter ending in June 2020. From Rs. 0.85 in June 2020, the EPS of Gujarat Gas Ltd has risen to Rs. 6.92 per share in June 2021.
