The airport in the Philippines, developed in partnership with Megawide, is renowned for its architecture.

The GMR Group, an Indian multinational conglomerate comprising GMR Infrastructure, GMR Energy, and GMR Enterprises, was founded in 1978 by Mr. Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao. He is at present the Chairman of the company. Mr. Grandhi Kiran Kumar serves as the Managing Director & CEO.
