Cyient Ltd. is an Indian multinational engineering and technology solutions company that offers services such as engineering, manufacturing, digital, and geospatial. It was incorporated in 1991, with its headquarters in Hyderabad. For the quarter ended June 2022, the company’s total income was Rs 1,283.80 crore, up 4.32% from the previous quarter ended March 2022. On 26 August 2022, its market capitalisation stood at Rs 9,424 crore.

The company offers engineering solutions, including product development and life-cycle support, process, network, and content engineering. Its operations persist in two segments—Network & Content Engineering (N&CE) and Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Products (EMI). These segments service customers in the industries of telecom, gas, power, transportation, and local government. Cyient Ltd. delivers services and solutions to a diversified base of over 300 customers, including 29 Fortune 500 companies across various industries.  

On 30 June 2022, the company’s shareholding pattern indicated a promoter stake of 23.4%, foreign institutional investor stake of 32.68%, domestic institutional investor stake of 23.88%, and public stake of 20.04%. In the June 2022 quarter, the company’s promoters initiated pledges of 1.30% of their holdings. The promoter holdings decreased from 23.41% to 23.40%, while the mutual fund holdings increased from 21.97% to 22.52%. Vineyard Point Software Pvt. Ltd. is the leading promoter with a 12.69% share.  

Mr B V R Mohan Reddy is the founder and executive chairman of Cyient Ltd. The other board members include Mr Krishna Bodanapu, Mr Vivek Narayan Gour, Mr Vikas Sehgal, Mr Ajay Aggarwal, Mr M M Murugappan, Mr Vinai Thummalapally, Mr Karthikeyan Natarajan, Mr Alain De Taeye, Mr Ramesh Abhishek, and Ms Matangi Gowrishankar.
