The Scheme is an actively managed scheme. The strategy seeks to generate income and capital appreciation by taking advantage of diversification by investing in a mix of asset classes comprising equity & equity related instruments and fixed income securities including money market instruments. It also aims to manage risk through active selection within the specified asset allocation range. The aim is to improve risk adjusted returns through diversification across these asset classes. The equity portion will select stocks which have the potential to appreciate over long term. Hence the scheme will invest in a diversified portfolio of equity and equity related instruments across all market capitalization i.e large caps, mid-caps and small caps. There will be no sector bias while investing. The fund manager will follow a top down for selecting sectors and bottom-up approach while selecting stocks.
