Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index rises 6.76%

Nifty Realty index closed up 6.76% at 841.3 today. The index is up 15.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Sobha Ltd gained 15.70%, Macrotech Developers Ltd added 9.27% and Godrej Properties Ltd jumped 7.98%. The Nifty Realty index is up 97.00% over last one year compared to the 20.04% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty PSE index added 1.60% and Nifty Financial Services index added 1.22% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 recorded a gain of 0.66% to close at 21658.6 while the SENSEX added 0.75% to close at 71889.05 today.
