Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index rises 2.55%

Nifty Realty index closed up 2.55% at 763.05 today. The index is up 10.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd gained 4.77%, Phoenix Mills Ltd rose 4.75% and Sobha Ltd added 4.09%. The Nifty Realty index is up 80.00% over last one year compared to the 17.77% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty IT index added 2.27% and Nifty Metal index increased 1.71% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 increased 0.44% to close at 21349.4 while the SENSEX added 0.34% to close at 71106.96 today.
