Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index records a surge of 2.54%

Nifty Realty index ended up 2.54% at 643.75 today. The index has added 13.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Brigade Enterprises Ltd jumped 6.43%, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd gained 4.42% and Godrej Properties Ltd rose 3.99%. The Nifty Realty index has increased 46.00% over last one year compared to the 6.52% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Media index increased 1.38% and Nifty PSE index added 0.88% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 added 0.51% to close at 19230.6 while the SENSEX witnessed a rise of 0.44% to close at 64363.78 today.
